Amazon MP3 store goes live

Amazon's previously announced MP3 music download service is live. Dubbed amazonmp3, the service offers DRM-free MP3 music downloads. Nothing exceptional yet, and sort of the lame selection found on Wal-Mart's similar store. Still, a step in the right direction.

I think its ahuge step in the right direction.  the Website is UI simple, but yet very enjoyable to preview songs.  Its also very fast.  Selection is of course limited.  I have not checked out the software that imports the tracks into you library.  Love the fact that the song is mine to listen to on any device as along as i want.
