Fear not, Paul. What I've found in that document is basically marketing stuff for convincing people that Vista is far more better than his poor old brother XP.

In fact there is no real life working scenario like the one you've provided in your "good enough" article.

In fact, XP is ok for most people if they have an updated anti virus and the windows firewall on.

I use both of them and I like them both. In my humble opinion Vista is running better than XP on the same modern hardware and is a huge step forward in the right direction.

But, XP is still good enough for most people and will remain so during this whole year.

Most of the document is security stuff. It's mostly things I.T. pros SHOULD already be familiar with in Vista (although reading things like Informationweek, PCWorld, WSJ and PCMag, I'm not sure any of these guys really are I.T. pros).... it's not until the end that they really get into the 'average Joe' features (i.e. those features we all use and love once we find them), which IMO, they should be focusing on to repair the unwarranted Vista rep out there.
