Beat up a couple of USC students (and faculty members) while you're there. Those rich, pompous southern Californians. Just kidding. Don't beat them up. Maybe just a slap to the face?

Bring all of us back some of those T-shirts. :-)

>>Windows Vista No Longer Matters

Make no mistake: Microsoft has moved beyond Windows Vista, which will become all too apparent during this week's Professional Developer Conference. Windows 7 is the future, and in many ways it's the present, too.

Contrary to ridiculous assertions recently made by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, Windows Vista is a flop. If businesses aren't buying Vista, after waiting six (now seven) years, it's no success,

That's actually just about the opposite of "scientific".

Also, that's a party? Where's the coke & hookers?

Hey Ocean,

I had a friend whose Mac Book Pro went back to Apple 3 times in one year to replace defective hardware. That's not scientific, but it needn't be. One user, one experience multiplied by the few million OS X licenses is scientific enough to prove that all Macs are horribly defective garbage and anybody claiming otherwise is just lying.

I still don't get this rivalry of Mac vs PC.  Why can't people just have a preference and use whatever OS and hardward combo they feel comfortable with?  I'm really over it all.

I use Windows (in many forms), Mac OSX and Linux daily on a few different machines and like all of them for different reasons.  And although I started out on MSDOS and really a Windows user at heart, I just don't get why you have to be in one camp or the other :|

I came across this article:

www.martijnbrant.net/.../windows-7-looking-ahead-at-pdc    it is linked off of bink.nu

I think the Homegroups will be very cool.

Pretty cool stuff to me.  I'm trying to think of that phrase of something about the details are in the gravy when it comes to Windows 7.

PS. Mike G. Thank you for the web cam url.

Here's a couple for ya Ocean:

>>  Thanks to a f*****g stupid error, the iTunes Music Store in the UK has accidentally censored thousands of songs, albums, and artists' names. Innocent songs—like Danny Kaye's "I Thought I Saw A P***y Cat"—and not-so-innocent ones—like Nirvana's "Smells Like T**n Spirit"—have been asterisked by what an Apple spokeswoman has described as a "database glitch". Why "teen", "hot" or "Johnny" can be considered offensive, I really don't have a flying f**k, but things look rather silly in there <<
