(Yawn) Vista is in my rear-view mirror at this point as I'm committed to Windows 7 from this point on. If you can get your hands on build 7048 I highly recommend it. It's cleaner, more stable, and overall more snappy user experience than even the beta, nevermind Vista.

Can MSDN subscribers get their hands on build 7048?  I would love to try it out.

I'm with you, kenmcnamee -- Win7 from here on out.  I've been a loyal Vista supporter from (nearly) day one, but Win7 is just better in every way.

@yipcanjo,

Thats a good question and I'd like the answer on that too.

At this point, I'm very content to use the beta build until we have the release candidate version. Build 7048 is still part of the winmain branch and hasn't been forked off to an RC escrow build. Also, according to a post on AeroXP.org running build 7048, some users are complaining that build 7048 is running a tad slower than the beta. If this is true, Sinofsky's team needs to findout what's slowing down the HDD's.
