Wow, it's that time again.

It's been well over 3 years since Office 2007 went into beta so it's overdue if anything.

No Visio 2010? Dang. I could use Open Document Format .odg support in there. Exporting .odg to PDF sucks!

Office 2007 took a while to get used to, now I hate going back to 2003 or (gag me) Open orifice.

@mikegalos - Why are you jumping to the conclusion that Andreas J is being negative...always so protective of everything Microsoft...geesh!

I didn't assume it was negative. I did assume it was expressing surprise that time had passed so quickly. I was pointing out just how long it had been

Does anyone know what is going to be new in Office 2010? Anything that is worth switching over from Office 2007?

The prospect of Office 2010 is uninteresting in 2009. I live in my browser, as do many of us, My choice of browsers, in descending order of usefulness to me, is Firefox, Chrome, IE8, Safari, Opera. I rarely use Office apps anymore and I am not alone. Microsoft will have to do something spectacular to change this trend. I doubt they can.

No offense, but what type of job do you have that work/live in your browser and "rarely" use Office apps, like Word or Excel?
