• Oh, about those iPhone and iPod touch backups ... Yeah, that really is a feature

  I've been noticing that every time I connect my iPhone or iPod touch to the PC, it does a very time-consuming backup before any syncing occurs. You can actually stop this backup by clicking the little "x" at the top of the application window...
