I bought one. Since Vista SP1 broke the Netflix Watch-it-now, I can't watch movies on my PC. This does sound like a good deal; let's hope they increase their movie library. Right now it's like iTunes was in its early days.

UPDATE: Whoa, I actually read the blurb on the website: HDMI to the HDTV AND wireless. 99 bucks. I'm in.

I've used their on line "viewing" and watched the first season of MI-5. Not bad. Video quality was not great but good enough, sound was good. I think the issue is that people will have an issue with YAST as we are staring to run out of connections to the old HDTV. But 99 more bucks, I don't know. I think it's smart move for them, they seem to anticipate well in terms of predicting practical market changes and planning ahead, but not pulling the trigger too soon. I've been a customer for years and all that's happened is my rates keep going down. They seem to be a smart bunch.

You can already do this with the Xbox 360 through a Media Center app. The quality is pretty good considering.

Woow this is good news !!

An all you can eat solution that streams to you TV is great. Plus Netflix has the best selection of titles available among competitors. It's too bad it's gonna add yet another box in the living room though... I'd have prefered a plugin architecture for Frontrow/Xbox360/MediaCenter.

I can't wait to see the first reviews of image quality also. Anything below DVD quality would be a deal breaker. I would expect 720p though.

It seems odd that you have to go to third parties to do the same thing on your Windows Media Center PC. Although 3rd party solutions (Anthony Park's My Netflix) are actually really, really good Microsoft really ought to be help Netflix develop an official Media Center app that does the same thing.

Note to the folks here: This only works with the stuff you can already stream to your web browser...not much of that is current.

Hey Paul...how about an entry about those NPD numbers? 360 barely beat the PS3...and got walloped by the Wii...again.
