Waethorn,

I'm not sure what that site is, but at a quick glance it didn't look relevant to a very important, mission critical, business applcation(s) (a widely used trading system).

We need POWERFUL CONTROLS...like the Infragistics WinGrid...only the one they have currently is just too damn slow...we need a POWERFUL, FAST, load on demand Grid..

Until that day comes, and it performs at least close to the current iteration of Infragistics grid, WPF will not be used here.

We used WPF and Expression Blend where I work about a year ago....it was a DOG! When I say DOG, I mean it was slow as hell! The Grid that it came with was so slow as to be unusable.

Since then, it seems they have made some improvements, but damn that thing (the grid) is still way too slow!

WINDOWS FORMS FOREVER! HAHAHA :)

What gets me is that for years, MS had such nice designers built into Visual Studio, and then along comes Blend which they were charging for...and it wasn't cheap.

Do they still charge for it?

Hopefully by the time Windows 7 comes out, WPF development will have matured enough to be quick and easy.
