(There’s just so much going on right now.) Anyway, Live Mesh has moved from Tech Preview to Beta and is now available on Macs and Windows Mobile

Live Mesh is in beta ??? with Mac and Windows Mobile support | MS Tech News

Pingback from Live Mesh is in beta ??? with Mac and Windows Mobile support | MS Tech News

Drop box has more features, works with more OS'es, does not require an account to share but has a limit of 1gig.

@johnbaxter "Once again, Microsoft has proven that it is better at doing Mac OS X than Apple is at doing Windows." ???? Umm Apple does not offer anything like mesh. The closeset thing they have is iDisk, which is old technology, webdav/webshare stuff. Which IMO does not work great on any platform. Mesh is NOT webdav/webshare, nor is dropbox.

I read this week that ATT is testing monthly caps in the Reno area, 150gig for the top tier customers. All of the broadband companies are loving mesh, Xbox Live, PSN, Dropbox, MobileMe, Netflix online, Apple TV, Hulu, etc.

Throw it all into the cloud, get charged for it, hope the source stays up and pray its secure. Good times.

So I'm not sure how people are unable to get satisfactory results using dual-core processors, newer chipsets etc.
