Paul, you intimated on the podcast that most people wouldn't use Twitter via the web client? Not so. It still reins supreme when it comes to sending one's tweets.

The new tab switching actually isn't in beta 2, it was backed out a while back until more work can be done on it. I'm not sure if it will make the final of 3.1 or not.

I think the new switch mode that previews is supposed to be integrated with 3.1, but since I've been using the preview mode (since you told me about the extension for it) it isn't that big of a new feature.
