The ENT doc that removed my daughter's tonsils got a whopping $260 paid of the submitted $1000 bill [and I did not have to pay the balance as per my insurance], but the anesthesiologist got the full $800 for the anesthesia during surgery and another $800 for post op care, for a total of $1600. I'm force to conclude that both Toshiba and Microsoft are equally at fault.

Sony's bum batteries impacts both the battery maker and the device manufactuer. They each took a hit becuase of the battery debacle. So in this case, both Microsoft whose name is on the device and Toshiba who manufactuered it get equal parts of Blame Game.

It also falls on the programmer who should lose his job or face some serious disiplinary action. Also a review of the testing procedures to see how this bug got through.

@Lindy,

Apple's activation servers failed just the same as AT&T's. So both AT&T and Apple are to blame for that debacle. That has been acknowledged by every tech website I can find on the web. So please, don't give Apple an undeserved pass, when Jobs himself admitted they dropped the ball.

And that's why I tell anybody going into surgery to suck up to their anesthesiologist. They never get any respect and a patient who actually treats them well usually recovers much faster.
