    Halo 3 Multiplayer Joining system

The one thing that I am disappointed in with halo 3 is there System for joining multilayer games. Although you may choose your basic game criteria, I find you are unable to be more precise when choosing and the game type you join is at random. I understand they do not list current games as they would just fill up to quickly but i miss the multilayer game list that other Xbox games have.

    What do you think?

Re: Halo 3 Multiplayer Joining system

I have not delve too much into the multiplayer at this time, because I'm planning a weekend to test the multiplayer functionality with close friends and halo afficionados. However, being that this title is both a single and multiplayer platform, I think I might have a explanation as to the lack of details. Part of it has to do with marketing. With Konami about to launch Metal Gear Online in the near future, I believe Bungie is waiting to see how successful MGO does in terms of retail sales. I do believe they might be in the initial planning stages of a truely Halo Online multiplayer. It would make sense to create a truely revolutionary online game that tackles solely the online experience of Halo. Imagine what could come of that, especially if you expanded the online game to include some of the Non Playable Characters of the Halo experience. Besides the Spartans, how about some of the NPO such as Miranda Keys, Sgt. Avery Johnson, or some of the regular marines. For the Covenant, the Elites, Brutes, the Arbiter, and the rest of the gang. It would be interesting if you could also choose the Flood characters or perhaps some of the Halo defenses such as Guilty Spark or the Sentinals. Imagine what they could do with the environments, such as the space defenses, a world wide earth maps, alien worlds, the halo rings, and ultimately the Ark. I could see them coming up with the human version of the of the scareb. There are so many different directions they could go. I ultimately believe this is the next logical step for Bungie to go with the Halo series.
