    @DRWAM I believe you're correct.  If you use Exchange you won't need MobileMe.  Remember, the tag line for hyping MobileMe is "Exchange for the Rest of Us."

    @sharp65 Yes, I saw that Apple Support article so I understand this may be how it works at the moment.  Hopefully Apple has plans to correct this misrepresentation and enable a more instantaneous solution.  As it is it works fairly well... certainly better that before when syncing required a USB cable and user intervention!  I'll ...

    I had initially had all kinds of problems getting sync to work correctly (as advertised) between iPhone 3G, MobileMe and Outlook 2007 in my Vista Ultimate box.  I believe the major contributor to all the problems were rollout issues with Apple's servers, which seem to be getting more reliable as time passes.
