  • Todd Bishop, John Cook start up Puget Sound Business Journal

Todd Bishop is one of the few tech reporters I can honestly recommend without reservation, and he’s a great guy to boot. This week, he’s got some good news to report, this time about himself: He’s leaving the Seattle PI to start a new online tech news service called the Puget Sound Business Journal....

  • Trip tech triage: Ireland

Since I had previously blogged about my travel technology for our home swap this month in Ireland, I thought I'd also share a few related thoughts now that we're leaving. Every time I travel, I try to optimize what I bring across the board. And is so often the case, technologically and otherwise...

  • Ireland

Well, here I go again. This time to Las Vegas for MIX. I don't think the trip will impact blogging or the site too much, to be honest. See you in Vegas...

  • Los Angeles

I flew to LA today for the Windows Server 2008 launch event tomorrow ("Heroes Happen Here"). I think these photos neatly summarize my day thus far: 5:55 am, Logan Airport, Boston. It's unclear to me why I flew so early today, but my guess is that it was the only direct flight still available...

  • A few notes from the road...

I've been in London since the end of last week, and we're flying home tomorrow. I've been meaning to write up a few tech-related notes about the trip, been thinking about it, and, well... here we are. Leaving tomorrow. Better get moving on that one. :) Tech triage from the trip Travelling...
